Timesheet Templates

Copy these free timesheet templates straight into Excel or Google Sheets (paste, then use Data → Split text to columns if needed). If you'd rather skip the spreadsheet math, the timesheet calculator totals hours, breaks, and overtime automatically.

Tips for using timesheet templates

  • Record times as they happen rather than reconstructing the week on Friday — accuracy drops fast from memory.
  • Keep break minutes in their own column so unpaid time is auditable.
  • Convert totals to decimal hours for payroll — see the minutes to decimal chart.
