How to use this hours calculator
Enter clock-in and clock-out times for each day of the week. Overnight shifts are handled automatically — clocking out earlier than you clocked in rolls the shift into the next day.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate hours between two times?
Convert both times to minutes since midnight, subtract, and divide by 60. From 9:15 AM to 5:45 PM: 1065 − 555 = 510 minutes = 8.5 hours. The calculator does this per row.
Does it work past midnight?
Yes — if the end time is earlier than the start, it's treated as the next day. 11 PM to 7 AM is 8 hours.
