Biweekly Time Card Calculator
Built for two-week pay periods, this biweekly time card calculator gives you 14 day rows across two labeled weeks. Overtime is evaluated per week — as US law requires — not across the whole period, so a 45-hour week followed by a 35-hour week still shows 5 overtime hours.

How to use this biweekly time card calculator
Enter clock-in and clock-out times for each day of the two-week period. Overnight shifts are handled automatically — clocking out earlier than you clocked in rolls the shift into the next day.
Enter unpaid break or lunch minutes for each day, or tick “Breaks are paid” to keep them in the total.
Optionally choose an overtime rule (40h/week federal or California daily rules) and enter an hourly rate to see gross pay.
Read each day's total in the right-hand column and the grand total below the table, in h:mm or decimal hours.
Frequently asked questions
Is overtime calculated per week or per pay period?
Per week. Under the FLSA each workweek stands alone: 45 hours in week one and 35 in week two means 5 OT hours, even though the period totals 80. This calculator applies the rule per 7-day week automatically.
How many hours is a normal biweekly pay period?
80 hours for a full-time schedule (2 × 40). Your total appears under the table in both h:mm and decimal.
Can I use different schedules in week 1 and week 2?
Yes — each of the 14 rows is independent. Leave any non-working day empty.
